D N MARCIA-NVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Marcian facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left shoulder. Rev. GLOR ORVI-S TERRAR / TESOB Marcian standing facing, holding labarum in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; in field to left, star. Depeyrot 54/1. RIC 523. Rare. Minor flan faults, otherwise, about extremely fine.
